I started shooting long guns and handguns with my father when I was probably 10 years old. My father was a collector and I had the chance to shoot a lot of really cool guns. In my later teens I got away from shooting and it came back up again when my wife wanted to get her pistol permit.
After taking my first firearms class I was hooked on training and just started taking classes from and through Rochester Personal Defense, LLC. As my passion for defensive pistol shooting grew, I decided to take up instructing as I get as much satisfaction out of watching people learn and grow too.
Philosophy
The world is an ever changing place. My attitude is to always hope for the best, but always be prepared for the worst. I want to do all that I can to avoid being preyed upon, and I achieve that mindset through knowledge, skills, practice, AND lots and lots of training.
